Sports day

Instead of the usual rugby training today, I took part in a rugby festival at our home ground hosted by Tai Po Rugby Club. Because we were celebrating Papa's birthday with Grandma and the Gugus at lunch today, we had to leave early. I don't know if I will get a participation medal for it next week – I got one when we played at our own festival, and at the one organised by Hong Kong University.

After lunch, Papa, Theodore and I competed in the swimming gala at our Club. I swam 25m kick and came first, and Papa tried to explain to me why I received a silver medal, like the one he got for finishing second. He said something about heat, which I didn't understand. Theodore won his back-stroke race, but didn't get a medal. He was a bit upset too. Somebody said he had a false start, whatever that means... Sai Gugu said she would complain because the marshalls didn't stop the race.

Fight

I had another fight with Theodore on the way to kids' Gallery today. He's much bigger than me, and usually gets his way.

Shirley was in the front seat, while we were in the back; Maya's crayons were there in the back. We both wanted to draw, so were fighting over crayons. As usual, Theodore won. He grabbed a crayon and stabbed me in the forehead. Mr. Wan told Theodore off, and Papa was not pleased with him when we got home. He told Theodore that I could have been blinded by the pencil.
